Vanshikakataruka
Hello
i am looking for post grad in India only. I took the gmat last week and scored 615(66%ile in maths and 79%ile in DI, 80+ in verbal). Now i planned to take CAT exam (and others) which are the main ones for admission in India and i will start my prep from next week as i was occupied with gmat until now. I had gained an experience of 1 year 10 months before quitting my job last year.
Now i know for ISB we need 2 years work ex and I am short of 2 months, but for gaining those 2 months i will have to sabotage my CAT prep.
I am not sure if its really worth it to sabotage my CAT if 615 already is not a good enough score for ISB. But I also dont want to regret my decision that i should have atleast tried. Can someone guide me if 615 has a well enough chance at ISB that sabotaging my CAT would make it worth it?
PS I wont be taking the GMAT again so 615 is the score i have to work with
Hi Vanshikakataruka,
The GMAT is only one of the many criteria in the admission process at any of the top business schools including ISB. The other evaluation criteria include your CPGA, your extracurriculars, the quality/type of work experience and also your post MBA goals.
