Hi guys! I'm 21/F from India and I'm planning to apply for the MFE program at Oxford. My undergrad was Bsc Statistics (highly quantitative course) from one of the top 10 colleges in India. My GPA is 7.5/10 and GRE 323 (163 quant 160 verbal). I've had two internships - one of them was in investment banking
Currently I have two options -
I have an offer from BCG Knowledge for a knowledge analyst role in the private equity practice (it's a backend role)
I have an offer to intern at a small VC firm.

1) which of the above two options will increase my chances of getting into Oxford?
2) what are my chances of getting into Oxford with the given scores.

Let me know what you guys think! :)

Hey there,

Here are some pointers about your profile:

Your GPA is on the lower side. Since you are targeting Oxford, I would strongly suggest you to upgrade your GRE too.
Regarding your internship choice, I would recommend BCG as having a brand in your work experience would help your application. Make sure you use data backed examples to portray your learnings from this experience in your application.
Oxford’s MFE degree is highly competitive, so your chances of getting in are tough unless you have an extremely strong application
They program has 2 key essay questions, so it all comes down to how you present your experiences through those essays.
