Gentlemen/Ladies,
I have my GMAT exam on 12/8/2016 in MI,US. However due to unforeseen family emergency, I have to travel to India (I am an Indian citizen). I was wondering if I could change my test center location to another country. While rescheduling, GMAC does give me the option to change my TC location to India, however I am not sure if this might cause issues as I initially registered for the exam in the US.
I will be calling GMAC tomorrow to confirm, but wanted to know from gmatclub, if anyone has done this before?

I know this is not going to happen often, but for those who plan on giving the GMAT during a world tour vacation or for those who have the same question as I had, YES, you can change countries for test location, as long as you have a valid passport.

I don't think it should be a problem. First time I took gmat in my home country, then again in US. The only difference is the types of ID you are requested to present.
