I have extensive IT management background but would like to go for strategy/marketing. I asked one of my friends in a bschool and he told me that once I get into a bschool, I can opt for whichever concentration I want to i.e. I could highlight PM experience while essaying/applying and once I am in the school, then I can change the concentration if I wish to.. to what extent is this true? Are there any schools which force you to take the specialization you opted for while applying?
