Hi,
I recently got in to EDHEC. I am planning to start the master in management in september. Before applying I assumed that the assessment year would be the same in both the financial economics track and the business management track. However, they are not, even though the title of both years are exactly the same.
I applied for the business management, and wrote in my personal statement that I would like to work with consultancy after graduating, which is something that appeals to me. Since they offer a program in consultancy, this all makes sense.
At the same time, I would really like to stay at the Nice campus. Their dedication to finance appeals to me, and I have always enjoyed studying finance. My plan was to do the first year in Lille, and after a year talk with the advisory board about what to do next.
I have paid the initial deposit for the program (~25% of the total cost), and I believe EDHEC is a good choice. I am just not sure whether I should do the business or the finance track. What will the school advisors think of me if I tell them I am uncertain after I got accepted? I guess I will do good within both disciplines, I am just afraid that I'll take a poor decision.
Thanks for any help
