Hey,
Thank you for the concern / constructive ideas. I will try to reach out to them. In my previous interactions, GMAC told me they would not discuss anything due to "internal security policies". They also won't tell me what the "internal security policies" are or when I agreed to them. They have also refused to discuss the situation further. Oddly, their response to me was the same as to my school, so everyone was confused. It was an impressively poor way of handling it.
The GMAT re-take went fine in that I got a score and it hasn't been cancelled. I did worse than I had originally, which reflects the tight timeline I had to re-take it. I don't want GMAC thinking it can arbitrarily cancel scores (until they tell me why my score was cancelled, it is arbitrary), force students to re-take the exam to maintain their seat in a MBA program, and then say everything is fine since the re-take was OK.
Also, I had to go out and re-purchase new study materials. I was hoping they would comp me some materials so I could prepare (I had thrown out my books at that point since I am in a MBA program). They offered me 10% off at the store, but since the marginal cost of these products is close to 0 (they're almost all electronic), I didn't see why GMAC should make money off cancelling test scores and then selling effected students study materials.
Thanks
