Does anyone know if I can choose the universities to send score to before the test day, given that I am taking the online GMAT? I can't find any place on GMAC website to register schools. I also heard mixing information about this. On GMAT website, they say I have 5 free score reports that must be sent within 48 hours upon receiving my official score. I assume that means I can't choose schools before taking the test? Someone also told me that I can register schools on the test day, but I'm just not sure if that applies to the online GMAT.

Part of the issue depends on which format you take the test. It’s a different process for the online test versus the physical test at a test center.

For the online test, you choose score recipients after the test is over - Do you have five free recipients or 53 schools and you can share the score anytime after the score becomes reportable which is usually a week or a couple weeks.

For the test center test, you have to choose your schools during the test in order to use the free five score reports. Or at least this was the process before the Covid craziness started.
