Hello guys,
I have my GMAT exam in 5 days. I am pretty much okay with the Quant section but needed improvements in Verbal. So I went through Manhattan prep books on SC, CR and RC. Although with SCs I have become comfortable now and also doing better in RCs and CRs, I am just confused with particular parts of the strategy both in CR and RC and that is, taking short notes while reading the argument/passage. It is a wonderful idea to do so but I feel even if the notes I make are short, they still eat up some time. This gives me a little worry as generally I am already struggling with the time management in Verbal.
Please suggest me whether I should practice the notes making thing in CR/ RC for the days remaining or there is a better way.
P.S: 1. My retention power is average and it becomes more average in the CAT.
2. Skimming through the passage does not work for me.'

Since your GMAT is in just a few days, I honestly would not make any major changes to how you are attacking CR and RC questions. If for some reason you end up needing to retake the GMAT, reach back out, and we can discuss your verbal strategy.
