Hey,

MBA is always my dream and now I would like to bring it to reality. I am from an IT(India) background with close to three years of work experince as a Business and Quality Analyst. I started my GMAT preparation couple of months back. I have done the Manhattan 5Q books along with SC, CR and RC books twice for having a strong knowlegde on the basics. Now on, I would like to start up taking tests, to begin with GMAT prep 1, so that I would know where I stand and what are my areas of improvement.

Btw, I am planning to give my gmat on 13th of November, 2012 - 50 days from today... targetting at 720!

Counting down on days:
Day 50: Today evining, after my office hours, I shall take the Gmat club test M01.

Day 49: I shall take GMAT Prep 1 tomorrow morning.

I will get back to you tomorrow with my score. Please provide your suggestions on this.

Gave my Gmat club M01.
Scored 20 for 37. Need to bring up to 30points (Minimum). Couple of them are due to silly mistakes which I need to concentrate upon and avoid them completely. Others due to lack of concept which I would be working upon tonight.

Shall take up GMAT Prep tomorrow morning and get back to you on that.

Honestly, I would even save the GMAT Prep 1 test for later in your study period. Taking exam after exam is not how you improve - go over the fundamentals and do practice problems.

Hey hi Jim. I have done with the fundamentals and now ready for taking tests. Most of the questions which went wrong in the club test were due to silly mistakes which could be due to time pressure. I felt this would be improved on taking constant tests. And the rest, felt I would know my areas of weakness from these tests which I could work upon for the rest of the day and then take up a new test the next day.
I wanted to give GMAT Prep 1 specifically because it is very close to real gmat and this would help me know where I stand as of now.

Hey,

Day 49: Morning! I couldn't give the Prep 1 test as there was some problem with the internet. Hence started with OG 12 PS today morning. I have done 110 problems so far. As OG problems are relatively simpler, accurary was pretty good. Planning to complete the rest 120 problems as well by tonight, before I take up with the Prep 1 test.

Day 48: By today Morning I have completed all PS of OG 12. Shall start up with SC and also shall take up a club test M02 tonight and get back tomorrow morning with the test.
