Hey Guys,
So when I converted my Indian 3 Year UG credits through WES for the US, it said I have a total of 133 credits. Could anyone tell me what would be the equivalent of this in Canada? I heard that the credit system in Canada and the US are pretty similar.

Hello, vigneshvrk. Yes, I would expect the number of credits to be similar between U.S. and Canadian schools, but you should definitely check with any schools, specifically the office of the registrar, to get a more accurate picture. I know that when I transferred from even one U.S. school to another, there was one particular class that had no analogue at my inbound school, so I just lost those 1-2 credit hours. It did not keep me from graduating on time or anything, but based on my experience, I would suggest directly contacting any universities to which you might apply to inquire about your specific case. Many schools would be happy to look things over and give you an honest assessment.

There is no one fixed number, as different converters have different scales and parametric values, so you may use any converter and state its name in any remarks column in your application. Goodluck
