Hi there,
Given your GMAT score and background as described here, I'd focus on schools outside the top 20/25 as per US News & World Report. For more on choosing schools, check out our free download at:
https://info.mbamission.com/Selecting-Yo ... ram-E-Book. There are so many factors to consider! In terms of US vs Canada, it depends again on many factors... very GENERALLY, the global reputation of well known US programs is likely higher than Canadian ones, but there are some great programs in Canada as well. You may want to refer to the Financial Times MBA Ranking for the latest global ranking. If you know you'd definitely like to work in the US or in Canada, apply to the country you are most interested in. In fact, ideally, apply to a school in the CITY you are most interested in--- it will be that much easier to get a job there when you are living there! It will also be important to focus on your post-MBA ambitions and look at the employment statistics and hiring profiles of schools you are considering... who recruits there? Where do most of their grads go? Etc, most is available on the schools' websites.
Regarding work visa q's, you should refer to the country's immigration laws and rules.
Good luck on the process!
