Hello. I am a college senior graduating soon. Below are my stats. An evaluation and advice from experienced GMAT takers or experts would be greatly appreciated!
Undergraduate: A top 25 university as a business major
GPA: 3.6
Work experience: Will be working at a Big Four firm after graduation, planning on working for about 3 years before applying to b-school.
Industry or job function: consulting and data analytics
Asian female
Not sure if I want to target full-time programs or attend a part-time program while working. Either way I hope to get into top notch programs (Columbia, HBS, Wharton, etc).
I'm trying to finish the GMAT before I am busy with work. My GMATPrep CAT scores ranged from 720-740 (took one of them twice). I heard these are the most predictive scores but I got a 680 on my first attempt. I understand that it's not on par with the average scores at my target schools, but taking into consideration other factors, what will be a safe score for me?
I am also wondering if admission officers prefer a more recent score. (My score will be about 3 years old when I apply to business schools)
