I know very little about the program that you are referring to, but what I do know is that you need to have a solid end goal here to make this decision.
Rather than thinking about this in terms of cost, think about it in terms of return on investment. Who are you going to be selling this degree to? That's who you should be talking to about this decision.
Whoever you are hoping to hire you based on having this degree, have an informational interview with that person. Or several of them.
Are you looking to become a more knowledgeable Specialist, or get into a management role? I think that seems like a relevant query for this.
I'm not so sure I would do this degree and plan on doing another degree, that sounds a little expensive and is it really necessary? Just because they invited you to go doesn't really mean that you have to go, or that it makes sense for you.
I would just say to search your heart and talk to the people who will be hiring you for the Target position post-mba.
One thing to consider here is that the career support level for executive programs is way way less than full-time even one-year programs.
Executive mbas are really more for career boosters and Ladder climbers than career switchers.
Hope some of this has been helpful to you.
My main point to you is if you're not clear on what you're trying to achieve by getting these degrees, there's really no way to measure what you should be doing or what the right choice is.
If you need to work with a career coach to understand where your strengths lie what you want to do and what would fulfill you, I would recommend doing that first before spending a bunch of cash on something that might or might not get the job done.
