I've read that you need at least 500k adsl to use GMAX online. I have 128k adsl at home. So, I guess i can not even try the sample videos :(

Hi

It is worth it. GMAX is worth it. Esppcöy for Verbal. It teaches you the concept and with the good audio/visual aid, it is easy to grasp it. But again, it is up to ur hard work. If you seriously practice with the OG and the GMAX, 700+ is not far. I have to admit that I did not practice the verbal well. No specific reasons. I am to blame. Without practice, even GMAX does not garnte a 700. If you are scoring somewhere in 600+ and the verbal score is low....go for GMAX.

The bottom line is for the price of 300$, gmax gives u something that other instituitions charge 800$ or more. I am sure, more people wud agree to this.

Regards

Ive spent a lot of time studying both the GMAX and the material from the American Education Aids, Chennai.
I believe the latter to be far more comprehensive and close to the real thing. The amount of practice questions that you get is just awesome. Besides, it also offers you the Powerprep software and 2 PBTs for free.
Another distinct advantage of this material is that each section on the GMAT is split into two categories, one where you build foundation and two, where you hone your skills.
Not to mention, the 90 issue and argument sample essays to crack the AWA section.
I owe a lot of the credit for my 720 to the Chennai material. Besides, its a lot
cheaper!
