Minerva Consulting has a budget about the same as the largest consulting firms in the state, like Cost Stonehouse or McKidney’s, but only twenty four in workforce, all of whom have advanced degrees.
A. about the same as the largest consulting firms in the state, like Cost Stonehouse or McKidney’s, but only twenty four in workforce, all of whom have B. of about the same as the largest consulting firms in the state have, as Cost Stonehouse or McKidney’s, but in Minerva there is only a workforce of twenty four, and all of them have C. that is about the same as the budgets of largest consulting firms in the state, such as Cost Stonehouse or McKidney’s, but in Minerva with a workforce of only twenty four, all of them having D. comparable to the budgets of the largest consulting firms in the state, like Cost Stonehouse or McKidney’s, but only twenty four in workforce, and all have E. comparable to those of the largest consulting firms in the state, such as Cost Stonehouse or McKidney’s, but a workforce of only twenty four, all of whom have.
The correct answer is E.
I am here not to ask why the option E is correct. If the sentence would be written in the following ways which differ from E, could we consider this sentence correct?
1. ..... about the same as the largest consulting firms' in the state, such as Cost Stonehouse or McKidney’s, but a workforce of only twenty four,....
a) Here, I have attached an apostrophe (') at the end of firm(firms'). With the firms', I wanted to mean budgets of firms. b) Like has been replaced with such as.
Can we say this sentence correct now?
2. ....... about the same as the budgets of the largest consulting firms in the state, such as Cost Stonehouse or McKidney’s, but a workforce of only twenty four...
Can we say it correct as well?
Thanks in advance!
