Hi everybody!
During my bachelor studies (mostly taught in german), I already obtained the UNIcert III certificate, which attests C1 level and seems quite similar to TOEFL. However some universities I would like to apply to, don't recognize my certificate and require TOEFL with a score of 100 points.
Now my questions is, how much time, do you think, should I spend on preparing for TOEFL?
As I want to take the test as soon as possible but also make sure I score 100 points.
I scored pretty well on the UNIcert (1.7, with 1.0 being the best and 4.0 the worst) without any preparation.
On UNIcert I scored, on the reading part 1.3, on the listening part 2.0, on the presentation (speaking part) 1.3 but on the writing assignment only 3.0 (+ some specialized knowledge was also scored, where I got a 1.0). Nevertheless TOEFL seems more pretentious from what I have read here so far.
So my biggest weakness by far is the writing assignment, as I only scored 4.5 on the GMAT AWA, though without proper preparation.
I would really appreciate your input on a proper preparation schedule and thank you in advance for your answers!
