Complete Course Live Online VS. On Demand Course

Question

I am planning to do the GMAT exam in March... and I am torn between Complete Course Live Online and the Demand Course. Although I have also considered a self study plan, but I am not sure since I do not know how to organize it and I am not aware of anyone who has taken the GMAT exam.

I am currently working on weekdays, so I'd join Saturday classes for the live one, but I can do demand classes on weekdays after work. What do you think it is the best option?

Some live courses include an on-demand option for free, such as manhattan prep and veritas prep, and it is a good idea to join a live course as you can have more hours of lessons and interact with a tutor. I joined a complete live course and exploit all facilities.

When it comes to training for the GMAT, there are a variety of different resources that you might choose to use - so you should certainly consider how YOU best study (and when you will have the free time to do so). It's also worth noting that many GMATers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores, so if you're thinking about taking the GMAT in March - and you have not started studying yet - then you might be dealing with a notably shorter timeframe, which could limit how much you will be able to improve.

Since it sounds like you're just beginning your studies, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can access 2 for free at www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a little studying first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the basic content and question types, then that's okay - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have that Score, you should report back here and we can discuss the results and how you might best proceed with your studies.
