Hello,
I just came back after taking my GMAT, scoring a paltry 630 (Q-44, V-33). Really disappointed. I scored a consistent >=720 in both the mock tests (test 1: 730, Q-48,V-41 and test 2: 720, Q-47, V-41) and a 750(Q-50,V-41) after resetting the tests. I took all these test full length (AWA,IR, Q,V).
Not sure what went wrong. Seems like a low score on verbal did most of the damage. Looking back I think my quant section was not as bad but I was not so sure about my verbal section.
Can someone help me make sense out of it?
Should I plan to retake the test after a bit?
I will most likely be doing a professional (part time) MBA along with my job in 1-2 years. By that time I will already have a work experience of 7-8 yrs. full time as an engineer (in the US) with a very good degree of experience managing projects.
Regards,

Hey VishGo,
This is not a new phenomenon - in the past few months, many people have complained of a similar experience. I wrote a post on this some time back. Take a look at it - it might give you some useful ideas:
