Hi everyone, my target schools (for MiF / Msc Econ) are HEC, ESSEC, Yale (Masters in Asset Mgmt), UChicago and Texas A&M (Msc Econ). For HEC and ESSEC, the R1 deadline is around 10th - 15th Oct. Should I go ahead and apply with my current GMAT score (FE 645)? I was thinking of retaking the GMAT and then applying in R2 (early Jan). However, that would exclude me from being considered for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship. I need to be considered for this scholarship since I need a substantial amount of scholarship to fund my studies.
I am worried my GMAT quant percentile (76th) is on the lower end and coupled with my 3.29 GPA, it may not be a very strong application if I apply in R1. Hence, I wanted to retake the exam and apply.
