I want to go into consulting and I have offers with both. Which one would be ideal for me?
I talked to a few alumni and got mixed responnses from both
Vijayking12 What a problem to have !

Many many congratulations
I would suggest that you consider these things surely (among others)
1. Class size- It will not easy being in class with 1500+ folks at Columbia. Think if you would feel more confident and will be able to shine brighter at a relatively smaller class at the NYU (600+). The pain of the class size is real at world's best MBA programs, even more so in the current economy in the US. You should give this a good thought.
2. If consulting does not happen right after college, think which college would be better positioned to put you in an industry (with less competition) where you can leverage your prior experience and still get to your long term goals.
Best wishes
