Hi c2c,
First off, you have to try to treat this whole process 'academically' and not get too emotional about any of it. You must do the necessary research, assemble the proper information and resources, study and perform up to your ability on Test Day and work on your applications. Combined, it's a BIG series of tasks, but they are ALL standardized (and they can be broken down into small 'pieces').
To start, you have to decide what YOU want out of your degree. What kind of career path do you want to be on? What do you want your degree to do for you? Once you've defined those details, you can research the Schools/Programs that best match YOUR goals. From there, you can figure out which Test to take.
Have you taken any GMAT CATs yet? If so, then what were your scores?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
