Hi,
I am a Chartered Accountant from India (Indian equivalent of CPA) interested in pursuing MBA from a top 30 B-school. While doing my research on application requirements, I found that most MBA colleges in USA don't necessarily require 16 years of study and 3 years of graduation holds good.
However, I have a few questions regarding eligibility.
1. Consideration given to professional degrees - do schools consider 4 year professional courses like CA in lieu of a regular graduate program?
2. Correspondence courses - Having started doing CA right after class XII, I did my graduation alongside CA through correspondence. Will a correspondence course affect my chances of getting into a good B-school? Do colleges require students to attend regular college or correspondence studies hold good?
I would be grateful to get some advice in these matters.
