Okay, I know this same post has probably existed before but I am completely waiting on confirmation of a GMAT scoring problem. I took the gmat today and got a 640 (q 47 v 31)
I took the gmat almost two months ago and got a 670 (q 45 v 37)
I have averaged 40+ on all of my past 5 or 6 practice tests for verbal (including a 48 for a paper test and 44 on gmatprep)
Also, I am from the US and english is my first language. I have a claim called in to the gmat people, but I am so depressed/angry that I don't know what to do. I have an article talking about a serious problem affecting 3% of test takers in 2000, and nobody even discovered the problem until 10 months later! This pill is hard to swallow, 31 is the lowest I have ever made on any practice test... just not freakin possible

What do they do if they do find a problem? You got the same score as I did
.
Sometimes I wish id get a call from GMAT sayin o oops ur verbal is actually a 39 or 40 our bad.
