I'm a current student at Cornell graduating soon.

I've personally been through the application journey and understand its nuances.

For strategy: answer depends on what all schools does one has the option of choosing from. Yes there is consulting recruiting like every school. Some schools are better than cornell, obviously
For entrepreneurship, yes there a lot of recourse in cornell (not just the b school)

Waitlist..yes try to engage with adcom, show your progress..without pissing them off....it is a fine line
If you had some specific feedback on your profile, then show how you have worked on it. Don't specifically ask for an interview though.
