I'm trying for R1, but theres no way I'm going to make it. I'll end up R2. If you can visit the school, all the better yes.... I'd chose R2 without a visit over R3 with a visit.

I will try for R2 Nov9 with a visit...Like the small program and would like to stay away from Big cities..( Cant think of living on a student budget in NYC )

Any inside info you have about Cornell.plz do shout

cheers

Apparently there is a persistent myth that the suicide rate is very high among undergrads there. A good friend from high school was there years ago and he told me that. Cornell is filled with bridges and gorges, and to paraphrase my friend, sometimes it just looks like it might be fun to jump off.

That's all the inside info that I have, and obviously it's pretty meaningless.

Yea, I've heard that one. Heard it 10 years ago when I applied undergrad too. It's full of huge gorges, the myth is that someone jumps off one every year. It's probably true actually. Most schools get at least one suicide a year.

Faxing over my GMAT scores today as I took it on 9/11 and I am scared they will not receive them from GMAC by first round deadline. They said they will take a fax of the offical copy, so I am faxing it over today and will be all squared away.
