I appreciate the responses :) To provide some context, I've been studying throughout the summer and have already taken the test once (scoring a 650). The original goal was to have the gmat finished by my last exam on Aug 19. My classes (I'm still in university) start on September 28 (there's no appointments in between 28 and 25), so it would be great to definitely have this over with and not have it overlap with my other studying, plus I can't maintain my rigorous study schedule and my university studying. Two weeks of studying also makes a pretty big difference to me since I can study most of the day right now.

Ideally I should obtain a 700+ on my next test, but psychologically it would have been better to know I have another potential test day scheduled before my university begins. I could still of course take it later in a worst case scenario so it's not the end of the world.

Hi Matthias15,

What were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores when you scored 650? I ask because, with a 650, you're actually relatively close to a 700+ score, but we have to make sure that you're focused on the proper subjects and working in the proper way (strategically and mechanically).
