-3.0 cumulative / 2.95 GPA from Big Ten college, Last semester 2.65 GPA
-Majored in Electrical Engineering
-GMAT 690 (48q, 36v) will retake

8 years of IT work experience, all in major manufacturing, media, retail, and luxury brand companies. Working as a Development Lead for ERP applications at Fortune 500 company. Led custom development efforts and, designed global footprint for $6B chemical company as part of a $50M global ERP roll-out project for 6000+ SAP users worldwide. Completed mission-critical SAP implementations in U.S., Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Brazil. Coordinated activities in Belgium. Supervised and mentored developers, assigned tasks, and ensured projects were delivered on time. Worked in US, Belgium, and France. Soooo I think you may be being a weeeee bit ambitious there. Let's say that overall, I think top 10 schools are gonna be tough. I don't want to disappoint you or nothing, dude, but I think it's better to start off on the right and reasonable foot.
Sooo in your profile:
The good stuff:
International experience - this is truly fantastic. Few candidates from anywhere will have this much experience.
Strong work experience - Although I could use a bit more detail, from what I see, looks great
The challenges:
GPA - This alone could make Top 10 schools out of range. To give you an idea HBS takes 1-2 people with a GPA below 3 per year, Tuck, maybe 1-2 more.
GMAT - It's fine, but not high enough for Top 10 schools either
Age - This is not a BIG problem in of itself, but you are going to be 32 or 33 at matriculation, and the average age is about 26 in US programs
Indian/Male/IT - Okay, this one I'm sure you know about, so no need to elaborate too much.
With these in mind, I think that Top schools in the US are out of range for you, dude, and even Top 20 will be stretches. Probably your comfort zone is in schools ranked 20-50. You might however be a stronger candidate in european schools, given that a) you have awesome international experience, which is something they value highly and b) they can be more flexible with low GPAs or GMATs than US schools c) Your average age fits in pretty perfectly with their class average age (depends on the school of course, but in general).
This may not have been what you hoped to hear, but I hope it helps you anyhow,
