I am going ahead with B.

A is very specific to the first sentence and the last sentence of the paragraph and does not cover in between lines. E is another contender but goes out of scope with the word "unreasonable".

Thus, only B covers the whole stuff reasonably.

I pick A
The first line is asking the reader to come up with some proof that people who spend time plucking their grey hair have more neg. att. towards elderly people. The second sentence says that there is in fact no such connection unless someone overgeneralizes. The first two sentences are crucial in selecting A and summarize the whole idea of why it cannot be assumed that there is no correlation between the one's dislike of some concomitants of aging and one's negative attitude vis-a-vis older people.
