Why E is not Correct?D, the OA according to OG assumes that after the embargo is in place there will be an international discord. But the line in question stem "...but such an action would be likely to cause interntion discord..." means during the emabrgo process (when the blockade of port is underway) itself there will be an international discord.E is more apt here as it talks about the embargo process (blockade of port) itself meeting resistance which clearly aligns with the quoted question stem.

D is correct 'coz we are asked to choose a conclusion based on the arguments given in the passage.
it is clearly evident that international accord and embargo are at odds as far as city is concerned and any sort of compromise is not feasible. E talks of international opinion being unanimous and supporting the embargo which is contradictory.

A, B,C are clearly out.

the unanimous international consent from E is out of scope

The question goes like "Which of the following statement if true...", which means first of all u have to consider each statement true and then see it in context of argument. You simply can't refute it.Please tell me am i missing something here
