Hi Shikhar22,
Most GMAT questions are written so that they can be approached in more than one way - and by extension, that means that some methods take longer than others to properly use. From what you describe, "your way" of approaching certain CR prompts is inefficient (since NO CR prompts are designed to take 6 minutes to solve). There might be issues in terms of how you're reading the prompts and/or how you take notes (so that you can more effectively predict what the correct answer will likely state BEFORE you look at the 5 choices); thankfully, the Verbal section is just as consistent and predictable as the Quant section is, so you CAN train to solve CR questions efficiently.
Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What brands of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
