2 minutes per CR is fine, if you are able to target SC qustions in about a 1 min or 1 min 15 seconds. I used to use diagramming techniques during my initial prep for CR but slowly I got used to doing the questions without any diagram. This comes with practice.

Try to understand the passage and also identify the conclusion. This itself will be 50% work done for a CR question. Next, try to paraphrase your answer before you look into the answer choices and then locate the best answer. If you are unable to paraphrase then use POE to select the best answer.
