Now that Apex Corporation has begun to compete in our market, investors are expecting us to cut our prices to maintain market share. I don’t believe this is necessary, however, because the market is growing rapidly and a certain percentage of customers will always pay more for high-quality products.

Premises: Why is there no need to cut prices?
- The market is growing rapidly
- A certain percentage of customers will always pay more for high-quality products.
Some possible assumptions:
- the company will maintain market share despite higher prices
- the percentage of customers who will pay more for higher quality products is high enough
- the company is not that concerned about market share if sales are high enough
There could be other assumptions. These are a few that came to mind immediately. Do not spend time trying to think of all possible assumptions
