Hi all,

I was working on my CR.

Which is the best book.?? Is it CR bible or MGMAT CR 5th Edition??

I found CR bible to be voluminous. I have also heard mixed reviews about the 5th edition

Regards,
Rajath

Cr bible is outdated for me

MGMAT CR 5th edition (the 4th is still good if you already have)

and now Cr aristotle prep 3th is amazing

that's it

Thanks mate!

So 5th edition you say? I liked the 5th edition too.

Aristotle CR exercise questions are not so good. I had posted a few questions and the members reckoned that it was not GMAT like in terms of quality. I have not gone through the theory though.

Thanks.

Hi,
I was searching for solutions for the exact same question.

I am an absolute beginner in GMAT prep, so Ive decided to start off CR(my first verbal topic) with the help of MGMAT 5th edition.

Will it be a good choice for me (an absolute beginner) ?

MGMAT CR guide is probably better than Aristotle Prep's guide: the amazon reviews were quite thin for this book. MGMAT has a very solid overall curriculum and the CR guide reflects that.

nitz19arg - it is important to keep your prep balanced, so you should focus on at least one other subject alone with CR as you begin your prep. You might find my big-picture guide to GMAT self-study helpful.

Is Manhattan CR (6th edition) still better than Powerscore CR bible (2016 edition)?

Wait how is it outdated? I don't think the GMAT has changed that much in the last few years.

The CR Bible latest edition (2015) is better than others. Aristotle series are mostly rehashed versions of standard books such as MGMAT Books or Powerscore.
