I am 2 months out from my 1st GMAT test, I had started studying in August but just got out of a bad breakup and I was all heartbroken/ distracted etc. I am finally in the right mindset and am ready to succeed.
With that being said here are my current materials:
GMAC Quant and GMAC Verbal 2nd Editions
McGraw Hill's Conquering GMAT MAth
Princeton Review Verbal Workout
After reading a few threads here I just went ahead and purchased
OG 10 for 29 cents!
OG 12
and the
MGMAT set of 8 strategy Guides.
My plan starting tomorrow is to study for 4 hours a day in 2, 2 hour parts focusing on a different section each day. With a practice test at the end of each week. However I don't know if 8.5 weeks will be enough to get a 650+ score.
My main focus will definitely be on improving my Quant as I have only had 1 good math teacher my entire life and that was my Calc teacher. I dual Majored in Marketing/Management so again I avoided numbers for the most part.
Do you guys think breaking up the studying as I am will be effective or are there better ways to properly focus and build upon? I mostly did it to switch things up and to stay fresh and engaged.
Thanks in advance!
