Currently, the Big Apple Stadium, which sells food and drinks to patrons, has only expensive theater-style seating. However, most fans would rather have less expensive bench seats since they stand for most of the game to see as much as possible. Moreover, patrons in other stadiums' bench seating sections often leave their seats, because the bench seats are uncomfortable, using many of those trips to buy food or souvenirs from concession stands. Thus, if the Big Apple Stadium replaced some of its theater-style seating with bench seating, its profits would increase.

Its A or B. I will go with A as it is direct conflict with the last part (conclusion) of the argument...less profits.

Thus, if the Big Apple Stadium replaced  some  of its theater-style seating with bench seating, its profits would increase...

OE : Choice C says that patrons of the Big Apple Stadium who would choose bench seating would be an exception to the generalization about making more trips to the concession stand. The passage states that the stadium patrons, even with theater style seats, stand for most of the game. It is fair to infer that given bench style seats, which are said to be uncomfortable, they would continue to stand, which would negate the effect stated that people make more trips due to the uncomfortable seats. Choice C is correct.
