Regarding the UIUC MSTM program, they mentioned it's a general management degree and not a technical degree.
Will it still be a concern to get recruited for the management related jobs.

With the MSTM degree, your recruitment options will be limited to the technology sector so you wont be able to explore options such as Management Consulting or Finance (if that is going through your mind). Lastly, PM roles are mostly targeted for MBA students and they also maybe a challenge within Tech recruitment. You can look at Software Manager, MIS related roles post your degree which should be relatively straightforward if the markets are favorable.
