Note \(\triangle CDF\) and \(\triangle FEB\) are similar. We have the complete dimensions for \(\triangle CDF\), and we know the shape of \(\triangle FEB\) has to be the same. Knowing any length in \(\triangle FEB\) will confirm the triangle's size and will fix the rest of the graph.
Statement 1:
\(AB = AE + EB = DF + EB\). Then we have \(3EB = AB = DF + EB\) and \(DF = 2EB\). We could find DF then EB so we found one length in \(\triangle FEB\), sufficient.
Statement 2:
Sufficient.
