Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
I have studied for a little over 2 months now although it has been sporadic.2) What materials have you used besides that Course?
I have only used Manhattan Prep materials as well as the 2017 OG.3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
I have taken 2 CATs; one at the beginning before I cracked a single book and one about 2 weeks ago (although this was before I got all the way through Geometry and some other sections).
The 1st CAT went fairly poorly...Q29/V33. I think it's worth mentioning that timing was a BIG issue on the first test...I had to randomly guess on the last 5-6 questions.
The 2nd CAT i took went a little better but timing was still an issue...Q38/V28.
On both of my tests my weakest quant areas were Geometry, Number Properties and Word Problems and my weakest area in verbal was Sentence Correction.4) Did you take the FULL CAT each time (with the Essay and IR sections)?
The 1st CAT was only Quant and Verbal but the 2nd one I took was a full on with Essay and IR.Goals:
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
I was planning on taking my GMAT at the beginning of February but I am open to suggestions. I fully anticipate taking it more than once but obviously would like to do as good as I possibly can on the first attempt. 6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
I would like to apply next year in the fall but if my scores aren't there yet I am willing to push back a year.7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
I'd like to apply to UC Berkeley, Stanford, Northwestern and University of Chicago. I realize that when looking at my CAT scores that I have a uphill battle to get to that 700+ score but I believe I can do it. I just need to get organized and start studying on a regular basis. I am just a little lost about what I should do everyday now that my class is done. I know everyone is different but some guidance would be helpful.
