I’m fortunate to be admitted to both Darden and Stern. I’m fairly certain that Darden is where I’m going to end up but I’m curious if there is a case for Stern.

The goal is consulting, hopefully MBB.

I’m also waitlisted at Tuck and Ross. I’m going to remove myself from the waitlist at Ross, but I think I’m going to pursue the waitlist at Tuck and if that works out then I would matriculate at Tuck over Darden or Stern. At least that’s what I’m thinking.

I’m curious as to what everyone else thinks.

Thanks!

I guess the few reasons you'd choose Stern over Darden

1. You want I-banking and prefer to have frequent networking opportunities
2. You prefer NYC lifestyle over Charlottesville lifestyle.
3. You don't like Darden's teaching method?

Darden and Stern are peer schools in terms of MBA prestige and recruitment opportunities, so I'd think it's really personal preference and fit. Since you want consulting, Darden is probably better option.
