Deadline for Evaluation or Letter of Recommendation submission

Question

Hi Experts,
While filling the application form for ISB, it has a section for Evaluation. I have a doubt whether my evaluator also needs to submit the evaluation before R1 (20th Sep 2020) deadline or there will be a separate deadline for that.

Usually, ISB does provide leeway of around 3-4 days for the recommender to submit the recommendation, after the deadline. However, would highly recommend that you work with your recommender and try and get it submitted by the deadline itself.

But my recommender will get the mail of evaluation only if i submit the application first right.
And application submission deadline is 20 Sep.
So, should i submit my application by 15th so that the evaluator gets mail??

No. Your recommender gets the email after you put in his/her details in the online application and submit them. That has nothing to do with application submission. So, you can send the recommendation request while the application is progress and not yet submitted.
