I took my GMAT, and it was devastating 550. I ran out of time in Quant, which is something that never happened to me in any practice exam before. It came as surprise because I have NEVER scored this low among CAT exams from PR, Kaplan, PP, GPREP, and others. Immediately after guessing many questions in Quant, I knew the score would be bad. I decided to pursue because I had to know how bad I did in verbal. I often ran out of time in verbal section during practice exams, but I ended up having 4 minutes left when I finished the verbal section in GMAT. I thought I did well, but I got shot down.
My score was embarassing: Q39, V27.
I was completely devastated, as any of us would. At last, however, I decided to not give up. I know that my mistake in Quant was taking too much time on the first 10 questions. I was stuck on getting the first x questions correct that I even went back and checked the answer (duh). Verbal....I don't know what to say. I should at least be getting SCs and CRs right.
I will post more later, but I decided to give it another try in late December. I will be active poster/reader here, so please, people, give me some positive spirit!!
Thanks
