dear all i am working out to see what scaled score you get on how many mistakes over all specially in verbal i am trying to find it out and we may work out that what mistakes on average will lead to what scaled scor
it will be helpful to everyone here for example if i am aiming a scaled score of 40 in verbal as i am scoring 48 in quant then i need to know what should be my accuracy in verbal over all for example it is 8 then i know 2 in SC 2 in CR and 3-4 in RC
so i can prepare accordingly
your help is required guys please post your scores in real GMAT or in GMATPrep

Hi Warlock,
so much of work already done for the same, but without any firm conclusion. Score is also depend on few other conditions, such as, consecutive wrongs, multiple low score wrongs..

bro you are right but it really helps amateurs like me to improve
instead of fixating on an actual number which doesn't really make sense in an adaptive test, why not work on your fundamentals first?

bro i know that the scaled score has got a lot of factors as i got 36 scaled score with 11 mistakes and 35 with 13 mistakes
probably this is because i got 700 level questions wrong
but one thing is clear that for practice you need to know that how many questions you can afforst to get wrong for eg now i know that i can afford 2 mistakes in SC and 2 in CR and 3-4 in RC for a 40 in verbal overall irrespective of the difficulty level
so while practicing i keep a note that my accuracy in SC and CR is not less than 80%
this actually helps me a lot to get closer to my verbal score aim
thats what my intention is
please help me if you can to get more insight
