I've definitely read quite a bit about some mba careers not having the best work/life balance like consulting's heavy travel requirement or investment banking's long hours. But I don't recall reading about a typical mba industry or function where "allows for a decent work/life balance" is listed under its perks.
I admit that I haven't researched every mba career path but I am curious, do any traditional mba careers fall under the "decent" work/life balance category? Or is it more that pretty much every path requires sacrifices, some just require more than others?
Thanks!
