Gmat just isnt for me. I have given 6 exams in 3 years and studied for each of them but whenever I sit for exam I am unable to apply the knowledge. I give up on MBA. Gmat has been a major source of anxiety for me. Even after maintaining an
error log, I am still unable to score. Its as if the exam has some phd level syllabus that I am unaware of. No matter how I study, there is no damn improvement. My highest score has been 630( 3rd test) and after that the score has consistently dipped down. Even the 6 official exams are vastly different from the real one. Going forward its either GRE or no Masters.
Hi sid993,
I understand it's okay to feel that way. But don't lose heart. That may not be the case necessarily. Beofre getting into details, do provide some context about
1. The time could devote to studying each day
2. Resources you used for prep
3. The structure and study plan you followed
4. Your target score
The answer to these questions would help me analyse your case better and guide you.
A lot of students spend a lot of time studying from various resources but see little to no improvement. One of the major reasons is that they fail to identify the gaps in the preparation. Honestly speaking, I would recommend you to give one more try by preparing in the structured manner using the right resources. That may help.
Alternately, even if you are considering GRE, it is a good option as long as you believe in yourself.
Feel free to reach out in case you need any help around your prep, whether GRE or GMAT. Would be happy to help.
