In everyone's experience, do schools that send acceptances usually send them out prior to the stated decision date? I have heard of people getting acceptances to some schools where the decision date has not arrived yet, so I was just wondering about my own prospects...
Depends on the school. I know the schools I applied to...
Kellogg - send out decisions (yea and nay) weeks before the deadline and all the way leading up to the deadline
Stanford - phone decisions for admits a day or two before deadline; waitlist and denials at the deadline
Harvard - everyone is notified at the exact same time, via the website
