With MBA2. Super pleasant experience, didn’t ask anything unexpected. The whole process lasted for about 40-45mins. I didn’t know who my interviewer was until the time of the interview. - Tell me about yourself (academic+professional background) - Your leadership experience - Why MBA, why now - Why Johnson - Post MBA goals - Some questions specific to my resume - then it was my turn to ask questions before we ended the video call Hope this helps!

Interviewed with AdCom on 3rd of Feb 2021. It was casual conversation via zoom. The experience was a bit different, I came prepared (did mock with 5-6 alumni and admitted students). The questions were: - Tell me about yourself? I spent 35 minutes explaining about myself. There was only 1 question because I did prepare using GMAT club interview debrief. During the interview I spoke about: 1. My background, my family, etc (1 min) 2. Undergrad experience (brief 2-3 min) 3. Work experiences (include leadership experiences) Before I was asked, I already told the answer of the typical questions "Why MBA, Why now, Why Darden" and give a brief explanation about my hobby and interest. Interview time: 40 min (including AdCom answering 2/3 of my questions) Tips: 1. Use STAR method in preparing for your interview 2. Do 3-4 mock with alumni and current students 3. Prepare for the list of questions that you might need to answer

My interview happened over google meet. There were two professors in the panel- One lady prof and One male prof. Since I am an entrepreneur , they asked me to introduce myself in the local language to have an idea how well can I interact with the customers. Then they moved to asking some questions about the industry and the market I operate in and also asked me to point out some unique traits of my market. Then they asked me the usual Why MBA and my future goals. They also asked a lot questions to know why was I looking forward to move away from a successful business and pursue MBA They also asked me about a certification course I had pursued and how did it help me in my venture. In the middle there were a lot of cross questions but strictly related to my domain and industry. It was more of a conversation than an interview Lasted for about 25 mins. Good luck to everyone who is reading this. May you all get into the college of your dreams. Cheers !!

Interviewer: Susan Mellage, adcom member. Absolutely conversational and she had the most comforting smile. Pro tip: Be as natural and engaging as you can. Tone modulation when you describe your story, ups and downs is very imp. Smile, smile, smile! 1. Introduction and professional background 2. How would MBA help you grow in your career? (Explain post MBA goals and make sure to emphasize on what made you realise that an MBA is imperative to achieve those goals) 3. What are you looking to get from Goizueta MBA? -Bonus points if you can find your resume twin and paint a picture of their path and thereby you have a good chance to follow similar-ish career path. -For internationals: STEM is an attraction -I’m from healthcare background and made sure to bring up cross-collaboration opportunities with Emory healthcare centre and dual degree public policy students -Also mentioned about 1-2 professors of interest (Little nuances like these rather than just saying clubs of interest [e.g. be specific which event at the club or what activity of that club excites you] really impress adcoms tht you’ve done good homework about schools 4. Describe the most successful project that you worked on and what did you learn about yourself from it? 5. Outside work what excites you or keeps you occupied? Interview time: Approx 45 mins including 5 minutes to answer my questions. Good luck!

The interview experience was delightful! It was with a representative of UNC K-F (not an Adcom, Alumni, or current student). The call started with a quick intro about herself and the school. Questions asked: (Not in the same order) 1. Background: Personal and Professional 2. How was your experience working in diverse cultures, and how will you apply that in KF? 3. Why MBA? Why KF? 4. What values are important to you and why? 5. If I spoke to your team, how would they describe you? 6. Post-MBA goals? Immediate goal? 7. What is your secondary goal? 8. What will you bring to KF? 9. An instance where you managed a difference of opinion in your team 10. Do you have any questions for me? (asked 2 important questions, which were impressive according to the interviewer) Most important thing: RESEACRH RESEARCH RESEARCH! I loved the school and was prepared for it, research about the school as much as you can and be prepared! Total interview duration: ~30mins

Had a 45-50 mins chat with 3 alums of different batches. The round included mostly behavioural and generic questions related to the corporate world (no technicals as the alums weren't aware of my niche), and quite a bit of discussion on my motivation and plans. Was a very chilled out sort of a conversation and didn't really seem like there was much grinding to it really. I went into it without any sort of directed preparation and had quite a fun time.

The interview took place over Zoom with a member of the faculty. The interview was quite conversational which put me at ease. After some of my responses, we didn’t jump right into the next question but the faculty sometimes shared an interesting tidbit about the B-School and the current scenario. The next question was always a smooth follow up on my previous response. Questions included: 1) Walk me through your resume -> with follow up questions/clarifications 2) What was your most significant professional achievement? -> with follow up questions 3) Why Cass? 4) Why MBA? The interview lasted 30 minutes. The first 20 minutes was the actual interview. The last 10 minutes were spent on my questions. I had asked about the current pedagogy given the pandemic and a question on soft skills (which I wish to improve) as it was related to a research paper published by the faculty. My advice to the candidates would be to be crisp with your responses as the time of the faculty is very valuable. Best wishes, future candidates!

So I had my interview yesterday with the associate director of admissions. It was a good discussion and very well conducted. There was no "tell me about yourself" which I appreciated immensely as it did seem like he had went through my profile. Started off with what values of IE I identified with. Why IE? Discussion about IMBA and TechMBA. Some questions around my interest in tech. AI/ML related questions - how to explain to a grandparent, how will you get them to invest, what will be the benefits. Few questions on digital transformation - what are some successful examples and what will be some obstacles if I were to be charge of such an activity. That's all I remember sadly, I have poor memory but the interviewer was great. I was open and honest and he seemed to appreciate that. Finally I was given time to ask questions. All in all it took an hour although at the beginning the expectation was to wrap up in 40 mins. The interview debrief here really helped me. I didn't do any other preparation - my job workload did not allow me to as well. But they are not looking for right answers but trying to judge the thought process and critical thinking ability. The interview was a fun experience, I was nervous going into it and credit to the interviewer to put me at ease from the beginning by not being intimidating and properly introducing himself and setting the tone of the discussion at the beginning. Edit: oh there were also questions on what I thought were gaps in my application/skillset and what would make me a good batchmate and what an ideal batchmate would be from my perspective. Edit 2: and on startup and entrepreneurship.. I am editing this as I recall more stuff :-)

Super friendly interview with a member of the admissions team over MS teams platform. A few of the Questions: 1) Where have I joined from? 2) Introduction about myself. 3) Branched off questions from my response to previous one such as: What was my role in that project? 4) Short term and long term goals. 5) Obstacles that I may face to meet the short term goals. 6) Did I speak with any alumnus? What did they tell me about the programme? 7) What other schools did I apply to and why would I choose SDAB among them? 8) What would my boss say would be my weaknesses? 9) What do I do in my free time? 10) Subjects that I liked in my undergrad. 11) Why do I want to do an MBA? I felt quite comfortable during the interview, the interviewer put me ease right at the beginning stating that it was going to be easy. At the same time, some of the questions such as “Why SDAB” and “What are your weaknesses” were asked in a challenging way as can be seen in question no. 7 and 8. No curveball questions like, “tell me about a time when you handled conflict in your team.” Tips to future candidates: 1) Speak slowly as the interviewer is not a native English speaker and your accent may not be understandable to them. 2) Be ready with a few more stories or points for each of the answer, apart from the main one, in case the interviewer asks for more. The interview lasted 45 minutes which included a question that I had asked and was discussed in detail, and two other questions which I had asked but were tabled for later. Best wishes to future candidates! Reach out to me if you need help.

Questions: 1. Quick introduction & why NUS MBA, why now 2. Interests outside of work (this scared me as I don't have much social work exp to talk about, but I turned it into a question about my hobby :D) 3. What is 'leadership' to you? 4. What kind of leader are you/do you want to become? 5. Who is a business leader you look up to, and why? (I took an example at my company - as they said it's not necessarily a 'famous' leader) 6. What was the last book that I read, and why does it resonate to me (I chose 'The art of happiness' - I don't think they will judge me if I don't choose a 'business' book). 7. Any questions for them (I just asked about why my list of uploaded documents still had some crosses, but the lady from Adcom said doc status was updated manually, and it didn't affect my application) Finally, they said they would get back to me in 1-2 weeks (which they did exactly 2 weeks after my interview). Interviewers: 1 from AdCom and 1 from Career Sevs. Overall, I found this a good experience.

Panel - 2 alumni (males) + 1 adcom member (video off) My interview lasted for around 45 minutes. There was a 10min delay in the beginning but an ad-com member called to let me know. Both the interviewers introduced themselves first and there was some small talk before we started the interview. I wrote about a couple of leadership experiences in my essay and the majority of my interview was about one of those experiences. The interviewers wanted to know more about the situation, what my part in that work was and what leadership traits I exhibited and what I think is the best leadership style etc. There were multiple counter-questions on this particular experience. Then we moved on to my work and what I do in a day. They asked me about one difficult scenario in the past year and how I managed it. Another question was about the work I do currently and my biggest achievement. I talked about one project that I am currently working on. I also got a counter-question about what I would do differently about this project if I had a chance. Then there were the typical ‘Strengths- weakness’ questions. One tricky question they asked was - 'How will you raise the bar at ISB' instead of the usual ‘how will you contribute question’. This caught me off guard a little since they wanted instances of how I stand out specifically among my cohort. One day before the interview, I availed myself a one-hour mock interview session with Preppie. It was really helpful to tell my answers out loud to another person and get their feedback. Especially for the behavioral questions. It was great to get another perspective on how my answers sounded to the listener.

Hello! Panel # 2 (2006, 2014, 2018) Questions: 1. Tell us about yourself. 2. Goals? What motivates them? 3. Are you sure ISB will help you achieve your goals? 4. Give an example of a post-MBA company you want to work in. Why do you want to work in this company? 5. What has motivated transitions in your career? 6. What are your 3 biggest achievements? 7. How did you convince your last employer to hire you despite having no direct experience for the role? 8. How do you get clients for your current freelance role? 9. All the interviewers through multiple questions tried to find what motivates my goal and how convinced I am about achieving them. For the interview prep, I used Preppie's services. It was incredibly helpful. The feedback I received from the mock interviewer turned out to be a game-changer for me. The insights I got helped me better prepare in general and also prepare for some questions that I didn't see coming. Many of these questions were asked to me during the interview. I am happy with my interview.

Panel - 2 alumni (males) + 1 adcom member (video off) My interview lasted for around 45 minutes and was very conversational in nature. Both the alumni were extremely attentive and friendly. They introduced themselves at the very beginning of the interview. A majority of my interview was centered around my work experience. They asked me detailed questions about different kinds of projects I had worked on - my role, interactions with other team members, conflicts (if any), impact of the project, skills gained, etc. I even received a few counter questions on the work I had done. They then asked me about my short and long term goals and why ISB. They asked me a few questions about my family and a few of the extra curriculars I had mentioned in my application. The interview ended with them asking me if I had any questions. The overall interview experience was good. Both alumni made me feel very comfortable and showed a very keen interest in my work and hobbies. Prior to my interview, I booked an hour-long interview training session with Preppie. The training was really helpful as they provided me with specific questions to prepare well for. The one hour session with the ISB alumni was extremely useful since I received detailed feedback and tips on each point usually covered in an interview. The session prepared me to handle any curveballs that came my way. I would highly recommend Preppie for ISB aspirants

The interview was with an AdCom member and a Careers Centre staff. The AdCom member asked mostly about myself and my plans during the programme. The questions were more or less these: - Tell us about yourself and why you are a good fit for the programme. - How are you going to take part in various clubs and activities? - What drives you in life? - What is your greatest achievement to date? - How have you used technology to your benefit in your current or previous job roles? - What are the skills you are most hoping to get from the programme? - What do you think could be your greatest challenge during the programme? (answer: some heavily quantitative modules) - follow-up question: Are you willing to brush up on your quantitative skills before the programme? How? The Careers Centre member asked for my career plans and pushed me to be as specific as possible: - Can you tell me 3 important current trends in education technology? (as that's my target sector) - What is going to be your route to get your desired position post-MBA? - If you want to do business development at a Company X, what exactly does that mean to you? What do you think you will be doing in that role? - Which technologies do you think will impact education in the near future, and how? - You started your own company in the past. Why did you leave it eventually? In general, be ready for the interviewers knowing your application in-and-out, and to be asked for specific details.

I was interviewed twice. Once by Adcom and another time by Alum. Both interviews were done almost a week apart. 17th March: Adcom Interview Questions asked by Adcom were: 1. Tell me about yourself 2. Why MBA and why UTD? 3. Challenges that you will face if admitted to the UTD MBA program 4. Any leadership roles that I have taken up in my professional career so far. 5.How UTD MBA curriculum will help me achieve my future career goals. 6. Any other schools or programs that I have applied to. Last but not least she asked if I had any questions for her. The interview lasted for about 15 minutes and Adcom was very supportive throughout the interview process. She asked me to stay put and wait for an alum interview if everything went okay. After 3-4 days, I received an email from alum to schedule a meeting. 24th March: Alum interview Questions asked were: 1. Tell me about yourself 2. Why UTD and why MBA now 3. My vision towards my future career goals. 4. Any questions if I had for Alum. The interview lasted for about 10 to 12 minutes and was more on an informal note.
