I just had my off-campus interview, very kind alumna
Why MBA? Why now? Why Booth?
What characteristics a leader should have and if I think I have some of these
A time when I had to motivate someone, how did that person react and how did I react after that
A question about one of my ECs that she found interesting
How did I prioritize when I have to do or choose among many things (then we talked about the many things we can choose at Booth)
How I see myself in 5 years
What I do in my free time
Questions for her
I think it was ok (not bad, not amazing)..... now just wait 38 days :(

Interviewed on campus today.
My interviewer was an extremely nice second year student. She made me feel very comfortable and it was overall an enjoyable experience.
She introduced herself and then went through the following questions with a little bit of chit-chat in between questions:
1) Tell me about yourself
2) Why MBA?
3) Why Booth?
4) Short and long term goals
5) Define your leadership style
6) Tell me about a time when you failed
7) How did you transition from that failure to your next endeavour
8) Tell me about a time you worked for or with someone that you didn't like
That is pretty much all I remember.

I interviewed with an alum last week... He ended up having some things come up at work, so when I met him his mind was still focused on work. As a result, he wasn't prepared with all of the standard questions (the suggested questions list someone mentioned before that Booth provides the interviewers) and only asked me a couple of those "tell me about a time when.." questions.
Instead, it was very conversational and we talked about my experience and why an MBA/Booth. He flat out told me that the main purpose of the interview was to assess fit and if an MBA made sense based on my career goals. Overall, it was a very casual experience and I think it went very well. Fingers crossed for December 8th!

The interview itself was very conversational, competency questions and understanding my strengths. Really just wanted to know how I would fit into Booth,
- why MBA,
- why now,
- why Booth,
- why USA.
After every question we conversed about it casually.
Hope this helps!

My interviewer admitted she had only interviewed 1 other candidate in the last 20 years. A lot of her questions, id say about 80% were behavioral. She was going through a list provided by Booth, which contained about 50-60 questions, and was picking the ones she seemed to like. Despite that, I felt like the interview went quite well and she was really attentive and interested in what I was saying. Can't really remember specific questions, many were about challenges, failures, leadership, teamwork, strengths & weaknesses.

Interviewed with a second year student. He had definitely taken some time to look through my resume and ask questions based on what was on there:
1) Resume specific question about a particular challenge of my industry and my position in it
2) Tell me about a time you had to be creative at work
3) Why an MBA?
4) Why Fuqua?
5) Can you tell me about a team conflict and how you overcame it?
6) Can you tell me about a time where you put somebody else's needs before your own?
7) Can you tell me about a time where you made a mistake or failed?
8) How do you see yourself getting involved at Fuqua?
There was plenty of time to ask questions--be prepared for this! I probably got to ask 6-8 questions which was more than I had anticipated and our conversation kept going based on his responses and follow ups. There were no questions intended to test or challenge, it seems like they genuinely want to make sure you understand Team Fuqua and the community because it is so team-based.

My Interview was taken by Hannah. IT was mostly behavioral questions.
She initially told about herself then asked to tell about myself.
Then she asked why MBA at this point of time, Why SMU and she asked to quote leadership skills I exhibited in my company and asked many follow up questions on that to make herself clear on each point I stated.
She was going through my resume simultaneously.
As a whole, it was a cool and interactive interview.
Hope this helps you. If you already completed your interview, All the best.

I had my interview with Brett Powell. She was a very nice person. The questions asked were pretty normal.
Questions such as:
Why MBA?
Why SMU?
How would you contribute to the program?
Behavioral questions such as
Working in a team experience?
Leadership experience?
Other programs that I applied to?
so on so forth... Do not remember exactly much.
Gave time to ask the questions I might have for her!
Also, asked me to reach out if I get any admits earlier than SMU's decision.

Interview was good for the most part but certainly enjoyable meeting Andrea and Joy. It was held at Cornell's admissions location in NYC and was about 45 minutes in length. Basic run through was we talked about my history, experience, why I was interested in a MBA, and other questions that would help the admissions group understand how I would fit with their overall curriculum at Cornell. Wont get into specifics but I think if you review what you want to do with an MBA and how it fits into their program, especially what you can contribute, you will do fine. I did enjoy the visit!
The only downside was that the room was quite hot or maybe it was the fact I was over caffienated.
