I graduated with an extremely low GPA of 2.7 as a mechanical engineer. I started strong with a 3.5 in my first term, but my life took a sharp downturn when my father went bankrupt and was sent to jail. In my third year, I made a serious mistake by letting my best friend copy my online exam, which resulted in a one-semester suspension. Although the suspension was a difficult consequence that I fully accept, it unexpectedly became a turning point in my life. To support myself during that period, I worked as a tutor teaching first-year students and took a part-time role in the crypto community, which not only allowed me to pay the rest of my tuition but also introduced me to an industry I became genuinely passionate about. This experience eventually led to an internship at a top crypto firm in Thailand, where I later joined a spinoff startup and have been working for three years. I now plan to apply to Imperial’s MBA program, Columbia’s J-Term, and other top programs.
