Any specific reason you are looking at Spain? You Fluent in Spanish?

Hi, No I'm not fluent in Spanish, I'm actually applying to SDA as well. I'm open to learning a new language. I'm more interested in the geographies + course structure. I'd talked to some alumni whose experiences attracted me to my choices.

Got ya. That’s good you have been in touch with alums. Also kudos for exploring a new language though as someone who also attempted to learn another language during my MBA, I have to say it is an extra pressure that will get neglected between the school and recruiting commitments. It is just tough.

I would recommend to also consider recruiting and job prospects. MBA is unique degree in the fact that you don’t really learn any hard skills. And employers don’t really hire you because of your learning either. A good example of this is the NCA program that is only one year and recruiting starts in October, just 2 months after you start the MBA. Not sure if you are planning to head back to Dubai or recruit locally… but likely not enough language skills to recruit locally if you are not fluent already.

Yeah, the alums pretty much said the same things, I'm aware of the difficulties involved as well, re: language + post MBA opportunities. Regardless, I'm prepared for either a shift back to Dubai or busting it out with networking and looking for a career there, as some of them have done. I'd start learning the language as soon as I get an admit.
