Wow... I think you have really good chances. Hopefully you can spend a few years in the US and the pay is meaningfully higher based on what I have heard from European consulting recruits.
Also, I am not sure it is really important which MBA program you attend. It is more of a personal choice/thing are you are not looking for a job afterwards (though most people actually do try their chances at something else but it is nice to be sponsored; that makes the MBA a lot more enjoyable). Anyway, after you spend a few years back in MBB after MBA, you are likely to be recruiting based on the connections you have made and opportunities that will find you, while your degree will be a bit of a lucky charm - it may work out if your hiring team is looking for pedigree or they may not care at all. At the same time, does not mean you should pick McCombs
Thank you bb! Just submitted my Harvard application. My only concern is my horrendous undergrad GPA, at least by US standards. Ok for a German engineering school. I hope my two Master‘s can make up for it. 🙏
Hi Qayray, can we connect somehow? I'm from Germany as well but have been living in the US for 1 year. I'm considering an MBA in the US as well and would love hear about your journey!
